- Answer The mount has an adhesive backing, but best of all the piece the adhesive is attached to molds to fir the curve on the dashboard..

- Answer Well, no. Your dash is made of plastic, so if there is any residue from the adhesive, WD40 or rubbing alcohol will remove it.

- Answer Yes I am using it for this exact GPS device, however the double sided tape in the ball mount part came apart after about 2 weeks. If it lasted I would love this mount, for now I am very disapointed.

QuestionWhy does Best Buy not honor their internet prices? I purchased a gps dash mount supposedly on sale for$15.99. They charged me $25.99 even when I showed a picture of the sale price dated that day.

- Answer You weren’t persistent enough. Ask for a manager, get visibly upset, and repeat your question, saying it doesn’t make sense, and ask them to explain to you how it makes sense to them. I got the sale price. ALSO, Scosche make the same product, labeled differently, one as a phone mount, one as a gps mount, and maybe even something else, I don’t remember, it’s been a while. Same product, different label, different price. I LOVE this mount.

- Answer Since most overheads are fabric, it wont hold. I'd recommend either over in the far left upper driver's windshield corner or over by the rear view mirror if it doesn't block your view of traffic signals, etc.

- Answer if you use the adhesive metal plates, you should be able to mount anything that doesn't weigh too much. If you use a phone with a case, I'd recommend sticking it inside the case.

- Answer I moved mine to a different location in my car and did not leave any marks. I just used a little alcohol to remove the stickiness.

- Answer The mount plate is optional and not necessarily needed. In my case, I used the ball socket of my garmin to mount to the ball of the Scoshe mount. Perfect fit...no need to use the plate that came in the package. It's more for if your gonna use a phone or something else that doesn't already come with a ball socket.
