“What is the length in inches? Does it need a perfectly flat dashboard?”

• This is 7", and a flat surface is preferable, but not necessary. Mine is on a non-flat surface and works great.

• The mount is about 6 inches long. It works fine on my slopped dash.

• Yes, this needs to be on a flat dashboard. The dimensions are: Height 7.5 inches Width 5.75 inches Depth 1.87 inches
