That is exactly the MacBook I own and the SSHD fits perfectly. It took me more time to take out/put in the ten screws on the bottom then it did to replace the drive. I got a outter shell for the HD I removed and now have a spare HD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed one in my mid-2010 13" MacBook Pro. I am using 10.9.2 (Mavericks). I don't think you will have a problem using this drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed one in my 2011 Macbook Pro (OSX 10.9.1) and it works fine. I don't see why it wouldn't work in an earlier model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, all the apple laptop HDDS are physically the same. This one will perform much better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work fine. It is probably only a SATA 2 connection so it will just drop the speed to the SATA2 max which is still very fast
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is. See my review. I used the drive swap as an opportunity to install Mavericks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot confirm that this exact drive will work, however I have installed a variety of drives in Macbook Pro laptops and have all confidence that this drive should work. This drive shows up just like a regular hard drive (i.e. one drive), and you should be able to format and use it just like any other hard drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need to find a 2.5" internal hard drive for your macbook. This model is 2.75".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
