YES, pull out your present drive and check against this WD, use their cage to place WD in if needed for access/removal. Just remember the clone software fro WD to download titled DiscWizard, which is essentially Acronis. Easy to work with.

That's hard drive will work with any computer. Look up how to do it on YouTube and just follow the instructions step-by-step. That's what I did. Don't try to do it by yourself. YouTube instructions are the best.

If it has SATA connection (check your owners manual) you will have no issues with this drive working in your laptop.
