• This is a 2.5 drive. It is rated at 5400RPMs, however, works seamlessly with an 8GB SSD Cache. The drive uses this section to help applications and files launch faster. If you're looking for a performance changer, a SSD for your OS is still what you want. There's going to be no way for you to partition this specific section of the hard drive.
