- Answer Yes…this is designed for the Series X/S. It will allow her to transfer games to the drive. Currently, this is the only solution that has the speed to play Native Series X/S games from external drive/Card. There will eventually be other options and larger storage sizes.

- Answer I’m pretty sure you can choose where to store your games (on the console or on the expansion card), you can play said games, as long as the card is plugged into the console, no matter where the games are stored
