Q: QuestionConnection problems! This 3TB hard drive seems to have connection issues. Just walking by the unit causes it to disconnect and become unreliable. Short of super glue, is there a better fix? What is the warranty on this unit? Thanks

Q: QuestionCan i put this in my ps4
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer NO NEVER! Sorry! This is a project that I am currently researching. All of the directions I have seen online are quite specific that you need a 2.5 inch (Laptop size) drive. I have seen a DIY Kit bundle with tools, directions and a 2TB capacity drive. And Best Buy sells an SSHD solution: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-game-drive-1tb-internal-sata-hard-drive-for-sony-playstation-3-and-playstation-4-oem-bare-drive/4791401.p?id=1219822139268&skuId=4791401 You need to decide if you are planning on installing the drive to increase the capacity cheaply; or do you want to increase the Speed (&/or Durability) of the drive (SSD or SSHD - more expensive). My understanding is that the PS4 currently ships with an 500GB Drive, so swapping in a 2TB drive will quadruple the space available. I have also thought that if you want to move the PS4 frequently, or perhaps you have small children who might pick up the PS4 and drop (or shake it exuberantly) then you might want to spend the money to buy an SSD for durability.

Asked by Murray.
- A:Answer Dear Murray, This reply is from Seagate Support. We noticed your inquiry and wanted provide information about our Barracuda drive to you. While our Seagate Barracuda 3TB drive will work with most computers that support SATA 3gb/s connections, it would be best to contact Apple directly to verify that this drive will be compatible with your specific system as we would not have that information here. http://www.apple.com/support/ If you have any remaining questions or concerns, we would be happy to help using any of the support services we provide. Here is a web address with contact information should you wish to speak with a support representative directly: http://ow.ly/4NgEf Best Regards, Seagate Support
