• A:Answer Yes it is exactly the same as the white one except the files and software included and the external appearance. It's formatted correctly but if you want a little more space use your Xbox to format it to remove the included software and files.

• A:Answer NO, this will NOT work with a PS4 Pro. I made the mistake of buying this after seeing an answer on here stating that it works with a PS4 but my fully updated 12/12/2020 PS4 Pro Star Wars edition gave me a message stating it will not work. After reading more about what drives work I discovered that PS4 will not accept HDD/hub combinations. Buy one without a built in hub and max 8TB.

• A:Answer I would say no. Some players have a limitation on the drive size. I have an older Samsung BD unit that will only accept up to 2 TB drives. I have a new Sony BD that accepts at least 4 TB - have not yet tried anything larger with it yet. This unit is really meant to expand storage and connectivity for a computer.

• A:Answer For the price point i would just get the 8TB model and Partition it into 2 4gb partitions. use one partition for backups and the other for Storage I believe they do make a white 4tb unit but i haven't seen them in stock for some time.

• A:Answer No, this or any Hub integrated drives will not work on any PS4/Pro. Look for a Non-Hub Drive (One without any extra USB Ports) and when you get it, format it as ExFat File System, NTFS is not compatible with Sony PS4 Systems. Which most come as NTFS right out the box.

• A:Answer To be honest, I only use my 8TB drive for backups of operating systems. I currently have not set up a server, mainly for security reasons. So, I hope I am correct in saying that my 8TB drive is accessible to any server that it might be connected too.
