A:AnswerYou have an expansion slot under the shell of the PS5 which it ADDS to the EXISTING storage, you can use it for PS5 games and it’ll act like internal storage. It’s easy to install and this is an excellent drive for that. So if you have a 1TB PS5 if you buy a 1TB SSD you’ll have a TOTAL of 2TB.

You remove on screw on the bottom of the unit. Then there’s a screw yon remove to hold this unit down.
It snaps in place and you put the screw in to hold it down then put the cover back in place.
It is truly plug and play and incredibly simple. Took me about 10 minutes.
