You need to buy a USB drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to transfer the current firmware from play station on to a USB, when you put your new hard drive in, any game saved on the system will not transfer, only saved data that wil transfer is the one on psn so you will have to re download games manually, but once downloaded you will be back to where you left off on your previous system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need to use the USB thumb drive. Playstation Plus will store all of your saved game data, but you need to download the PS4 files on a thumb drive in order to initialize your system. The system won't be able to start up and access Playstation Plus until you've installed the PS4 system files from the thumb drive. There are a number of step-by-step guides out there and it's really quite easy to do, the only annoying thing is that you will have to download all of the game data again which takes a while. This link is what I used to replace mine: http://www.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/How_to_Replace_a_PS4_Hard_Drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.PlayStation plus will allow you to save photos, music, and saved games to the cloud, but does not actually send the game files to the cloud. You do need the USB in order to reinstall the PlayStation iOS back onto the new hard-drive. It does not need to be a big USB, I believe I used a 1 GB one for mine personally and the PlayStation iOS barely used any space at all. You should also check the PlayStation website, as well, that's where I got all the info I needed to do/understand this process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only thing that transfers over are you're trophies, just make sure that you sync them with you're PSN account. In order to install the new hard drive and keep any data already saved on your PS, you will need to back it up onto an external hard drive. You will also need to make sure whatever external hard drive you use that it has enough space needed to back up your PS.
