• A:Answer You will need to follow instructions provided by Sony. You'll need at least two hard drives, one to transfer game saves and the other for the PS3/PS4 software. Once you switch out the hard drive, you will need to plug in the USB drive with the software to install the operating software. You'll probably need internet too.

• A:Answer Not unless you have games that require you to load saved games before you can resume them; and even then, you won't see hardly any difference. I purchased this one and saw a small speed increase in my boot up time. Other than that, I mainly just wanted the extra space.
