any experience with airplane background noise? null

With the right tips and if it is good fit there is isolation..not noise cancellation but isolation - like ear plugs

When you put them in your ear - push slightly more than normal and you wont hear anything but the sound you chose to hear. I wear mine while driving my convertible and get ZERO noise.. but have to be careful. In the plane - you are driving [right?] so people can talk - snore - or engines can road - you wont hear them. .

Yep, flew to Las Vegas on a 3 hour flight and couldn't hear the airplane!

Haven't used them on an airplane yet, but if you're using the stock silicone tips you probably will. I suggest getting the comply foam eartips which will definitely help. I have used them at the gym and when I'm playing music I hear no to little background noise

These have pretty good noise isolation, but they’re not noise cancelling so they’ll help to block out some airplane noise but not entirely

Yes. They aren’t noise cancelation so you will hear back ground noise

Yes - was kind of disappointed that it did not drown it out
