The robot will stop and turn away from the stair’s edge. It has sensors that detect the cliff and stop the robot from falling down the stairs. We use the shark on our second floor a few times a week and it has always stayed safely off the stairs. It does run right to the edge before stopping and turning away so may be scary at first when watching it. However, as I said it has never run off the cliff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They say it senses cliffs and will not fall off. I several small (1 inch) variances in my floor levels and it moves up and down with no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will probably fall over the edge. The Shark goes until it bumps into an object, wall or comes to a boundary strip. Then it will change direction.
