To clean the brushroll, press the Lift-Away button to remove the floor nozzle from the main body of the vacuum. Turn the floor nozzle over to get access to the brushroll. - A:Answer I believe that is covered under the 5 year warranty. I have owned my Shark for 4 1/2 years and it hasn’t gone out (not in this model). So I don’t think it’s common belts go out.
