- Answer Hello Stewin, We would like to inform you that the brushroll, for the Shark Navigator® Lift-Away® Bagless Upright Vacuum is not removable. To clean the brushroll, press the Lift-Away button to remove the floor nozzle from the main body of the vacuum. Turn the floor nozzle over to get access to the brushroll. - Answer I recommend you get a higher end model. I tried this Shark and it barely got my pets hair up. My older Shark which I paid $499 for works better. Hope that helps!

- Answer I believe that is covered under the 5 year warranty. I have owned my Shark for 4 1/2 years and it hasn’t gone out (not in this model). So I don’t think it’s common belts go out.

- Answer My Shark's power supply failed after 3 months and the company is very difficult to deal with. If you decide to purchase you will need the BestBuy protection plan or else you will be paying for Shark to honor its so called warranty. As far as your needs, I would also not recommend the Shark because in the bare floor setting the suction was poor and tended to send debris airborne. I have textured 24" tile floors and an obviously defective vacuum so YMMV. Hope that helps.
