A:AnswerI do not know why but I have mine with a antenna and it works grate so why it dose not work on cable, But you might ask the place that you get your cable it might be something they need to do to get the signal changed. I had to get the internet signal changed so my TV would get ever thing so try that and see if that might be it.
A:AnswerHello, we'll be more than happy to advise on this. For any assistance with programming your DirectTV remote we would have to refer you to contact your cable providers for better assistance.
A:AnswerMy Uverse remote controls the TV. However, to use the Apps, you must use the TV remote. I received email from Roku suggesting use of their App on my phone. You may just need to get a really good universal remote for all your devices.
A:AnswerYou can cast anything on your phone to watch on this TV by simply pairing it via bluetooth. Not sure if that gets you where you want to go with it or not....
A:AnswerYes, the TV has VESA screw holes in the back that accept most wall brackets. It is also pretty light so it's easy to lift and mount. I used a generic brand wall mount and it worked fine.
A:AnswerThat's interesting ... cause the soap opera effect is massive on this thing and I can't figure out how to turn it off..... I'm about to return.
It defiantly has something going on with the motion...my 8 year old insignia 720p is so much better than this. I'll spend about an hour on it tomorrow and if I can't get it to work, its going back....
A:AnswerOne thing to note is that the built In remote is IR based and not the standard Roku RF. What that means is it needs a line of sight to the lower right red light on the TV in order to work rather than being able to be in the other room to control the TV. I would make sure you have nothing blocking the red light on the bottom of the lower left side of the TV. If that is not the issue you may have a bad remote or TV or the remote batteries are dead.
A:AnswerNo Google apps. It uses the Roku TV system, same as Roku Stick and Roku players.
You would have to use and android TV box or Chrome cast
You could use the Roku android app to cast videos and photos but it is very basic and not many video formats supported..
