Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you thought about hooking your DVD player up with an optical cord, if it uses one, and leaving the VCR hooked up with your component cord?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your getting your tv through the coax connection already then it gets more complicated. Most VCR's have RCA in, so you could hook up the dvd player to the VCR and just change it to that input when you need it. Typically done using the channel down buttons and sometimes referred to as line in. I don't recommend it though it'll really make your dvd's look like poo. You can buy other boxes that can convert composite to HDMI but I wouldn't recommend it that either. They do work but it's another box to add. I would use the video connection for the VCR and buy a blu-ray player or find a DVD player that outputs HDMI at goodwill or something. The image quality would be much improved on your DVD's. If you bought a new HD TV you might as well spend the money to actually use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you can try HDMI
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding connecting your VCR and DVD Player to your LC55LE653U. We are happy to help. If your DVD Player has a component (red, blue, green, red, white) connection we would recommend connecting your DVD Player to the component input of the TV and your VCR to the coax input of the TV. If we can be of any further assistance please email us at [email protected] and thank you for being a valued Sharp AQUOS customer!
