Q: Questioncan I use a smart dvd player with a smart TV without conflictsI would like to know if I can run a smart tv without setting up the smart portion and use a smart dvd player instead without internet conflicts etc?

• A:Answer No, the player does not work for video. Best bet is to just use the built in apps. Or just buy a Roku.

Q: QuestionCan you project your screen from your windows 8.1 laptop (mirror)Miracast is installed in windows 8.1 and I'm wondering if you need additional hardware to project the screen as this TV says it is miracast compatible. Any thoughts?

• A:Answer All you have to do is go to the input and find mirror on the tv and then enter the pin it gives you into the device and you can mirror the device on the tv. I did it with yutube from a samsung tablet.

• A:Answer I also have a Sharp TV, on the tv remote on the lower right corner there is a view mode button. If you press this button there is 4 different modes to watch TV just press until you like the view mode. Hope this helps :)

Q: QuestionAnyone know how to add APPS to this TV?I would like to add iHeart and other apps. The way the smart feature of apps comes is very limited... maybe there are 8? And I really only need 3 of them, but would like to add stuff that I want.

• A:Answer Hi Malcolm. The LC55LE653U doesn't have the capability to add applications. We would recommend connecting a 3rd party device such as a Roku to the TV for access to additional applications.
