Sadly no I also pitched this TV and have the same problem see my review also be sure you backlight setting in picture setting is no higher then 50% or you will burn the LCD screen

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well my TV is quite bright and very clear. I would try a known good source. Try a blu-ray player or something. If that's clear and bright then it's an issue with the source. If you're watching tv over the air make sure you are on one of the digital stations not the analog. so 4.1 instead of 4. Also, in advance picture setting I would turn off the Digital noise reduction and the Active contrast, both annoy me. If you're still having issues try reseting your picture setting to make sure it's not something you changed. If that doesn't do it then it sounds like you may have something wrong with your TV.
