- Answer Yes! I wear the over-the-ear hearing aids. I am almost totally deaf on one side, and have reduced hearing on the other side. The unit sits right in front of the behind-the-ear inputs and literally channels the sound into the hearing aids as well as through the bone. They are amazing! I lost the hearing on one side virtually overnight (Meniere's Disease), and yesterday I heard music in stereo for the first time in 5 years.

- Answer No. Whichever model you choose has a set band size. However, there is the regular Open Ear and the Open Ear Mini. If you're petite, the Open Ear Mini might be a good option. However, the standard size fits most people just fine.

QuestionCan I wear these while swimming laps & will they connect to my iPhone music with Bluetooth?

- Answer This is definitely not waterproof. I was able to swim laps…and as long as my head was not submerged it was ok. But when I tried to charge them later…short circuit…only to google that these are not waterproof (my original intent in buying these was to swim laps).

- Answer It doesn’t work as a hearing aid because it will only deliver whatever sound, music, voices etc, are being streamed via Bluetooth. Ambient sounds and voices are not amplified like a hearing aid. Hope that helps!

- Answer Hello- Shokz here! Having at least a 1-inch gap between your head and the headband is normal. Some customers find that the OpenRun Mini provides a more snug fit and less stress on the back of the ears. - Answer Hi Wayne- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. To Reset Shokz: 1) Start with your headphones powered off and cleared from your device's Bluetooth settings 2) Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the (volume+) button for 5-7 seconds. Your headset will turn on (continue holding the button) and then the LED light will flash red and blue. Audrey will say "pairing" which indicates pairing mode. 3) Press and hold the multifunction button (button on the earbud), (volume+) button, and (volume-) button (all three buttons) simultaneously for 3-5 seconds. *You'll hear beeps and/or feel vibrations.* 4) Turn your headphones off. Your headphones are now reset and can be connected to your device. To Pair Your Shokz: 1) Start with your headphones powered off. 2) Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding volume+ for 5-7 seconds. Your headset will turn on (continue holding the button) and then the LED light will flash red and blue. Audrey will say "pairing" indicating pairing mode. 3) Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select your headphones. Audrey will say "Connected." - Answer Absolutely! Being aware and able to hear the world while riding might be really helpful. However, if you ride a really loud bike, the Shokz may not be loud enough to overcome the sound. Keep in mind: there is absolutely no noise blocking or cancelling with these headphones — hence the name "Open Ear".

- Answer They definitely don't float. While the style would be perfect to use while paddle boarding, if you want to take these out on the water, it might be a good idea to attach one of those foam floaty keychains to the band or something (and purchase the replacement plan on them, too! In case they get wet.)
