A:AnswerYour Kenwood radio is SiriusXM-Ready, which means you can add the SXV300 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle tuner - which will plug into the back of the Kenwood radio. You will also need to install the antenna on the roof of your Silverado for best performance.
A:AnswerThe FMDA25 is an adapter to help one of our Dock and Play radios like the Onyx EZR or Onyx Plus connect the audio to the FM antenna in your vehicle. you may also need vehicle specific antenna connectors and should consult with your installer to make sure they are avaiable.
A:AnswerNo. This adapter does not replace your existing antenna. It connects inline with your existing antenna wire. You may also need to buy antenna wire adapters. I had to for my Dodge Ram pickup and they were in stock at Best Buy.
A:AnswerHi
I believe that this will fix your problem but research it before you buy.
Available at Best Buy:
Maestro - Adapter for OEM Satellite Radio Antennas - Black/Gray
Model:HRN-ANT-SAT1 SKU:4355900
A:AnswerThis adapter only works with newer Sirius/XM radios. It will not connect any other type of device to your radio. Perhaps a Bluetooth device would help you.
A:AnswerI DID have to reach my antenna to install this. I have a Nissan Versa and looked it up on Youtube. It turned out to be relatively easy to get my dash apart - at least the part where my radio is. It took about fifteen minutes to get it apart, attach the unit (inline with the antenna) and put it back together. It works GREAT! No more issues with sound fading in and out. FYI - This has nothing to do with the satellite signal but the signal between the Sirius radio and the car radio.
A:AnswerThere's 2 options:
1) SD2 Portable Speaker Dock, it comes with a 20' antenna (might not work if the window faces north). It also comes in packages that include the radio and even a car adapter kit.
2) Grace Digital SiriusXM WiFi table radio
A:AnswerYes you have still have to have the XM antenna. This device just links your satellite radio to your car radio.
It's a great product and eliminates all outside interference.
A:AnswerYes, it will work as long as you have access to where your FM radio connects to your outside antenna. My Chevy Silverado had a weird antenna lead which required a 2nd adapter, which Best Buy also sells
A:AnswerThe radio I attached this to was a PIONEER on my son's Toyota. Read the Pioneer owner's manual to see if it is serious ready. If it is it will have a plug on the back of the radio especially for Sirius. You should be able to plug into that with no problems (You'll still have to run the line to it.). You can also call Pioneer Tech support and give them your radio's model number. They will be able to advise you also.
