A:AnswerThat depends on the type of radio you have in the car. If the radio is Sirius Ready, then yes. If it does not have Sirius ready function, then the tuner cannot connect to your stereo and transmit the satellite radio channels.
My stock honda radio in my 2003 Civic was not Sirius ready and I replaced it with a JVC M560BT Stereo which is Sirius ready. The Sirius tuner was then installed with the radio and it works great. PS - also swapped out speakers as the stock honda stuff was pretty old. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerSXV300 tuner will work with all "SiriusXM Ready" head unit which are sold separately. If you already own (or purchase one) SiriusXM ready head unit then you can add SiriusXM functionalitiy by installing this tuner.
A:AnswerNot directly by itself. It can work with a replacement SiriusXM-Ready car stereo. An alternate solutions could include using the SiriusXM Commander Touch (SKU: 4370000) or SiriusXM Tour Radio (SKU: 6408173).
A:AnswerThe ride Command system is not SiriusXM-Ready, so it cannot connect directly to the radio. An alternate solution would be to use the Commander Touch Radio and Tuner (SKU: 4370000) and connect it to the FM input on the Ride Command system.
A:AnswerYou have to make sure your car has plug on back of your radio to work and you will have to use the SiriusXM antenna unless your car has plug that will fit into xm device
A:AnswerIt is very unlikely, this will only work with stereos that have have the logo "sirius xm ready" printed on the face of the stereo, which are usually newer style radios.
A:AnswerIt's subscription based. If you remove the stock stereo and check the back inputs you can see if a receiver is connected if so you can go to the Siriusxm site create an account and add service to your car with the receiver information just set to Sirius input and ch 1 will give you the code if you don't have the tuner installing this will allow you to complete the steps listed above.
A:AnswerWell first off the things one would need to know first is aftermarket or stock headunit? Is there aftermarket or factory amplifiers ? Are either sirius xm ready? if not do you have an auxiliary input? If not your options are 1. Get a new sirius ready HU 2. Purchase a DSP with line level inputs that is capable of factory integration and has a seperate auxiliary input then upgrade everything, amps door speakers, etc 3. Use the factory auxillary nput and purchase a sirius tuner to plug into it. 4 get a Bluetooth input to analog fm output streaming device and play through the factory radio and have it sound like there's a a bunch of snakes in your stereo from the hiss the ground loop will create when powering an rf broadcaster through a cigarette lighter (not recommended) im sure i missed a few but thats a start at least im sure some others can fill in what I missed
A:AnswerI don't know. I bought it for an after market car radio and it works great. I would call best buy car audio department like I did before you buy it. Good luck
A:AnswerYes the receiver will work with any Sirius XM "Ready" car or truck radio. You may need a specific Honda wire to connect to your factory radio and these are less then $15.
A:AnswerOnly if your Harley radio is XM "Ready". If not you can purchase the complete dash mount Sirius radio with supplied tuner which will plug into either your radio aux in or connect via the FM antenna wire.
A:AnswerMy 2018 Chevy Traverse (LT trim) has Sirius XM as most all new cars since 2015 do. Look for the option on the touch screen display and then purchase a subscription package. All Sirius XM turners require a subscription in order for the signal to reach the car. This Sirius XM tuner is designed to connect with an after market stereo. I have purchased several of these in the past when I replaced the poor factory radio in my Honda CRV with an aftermarket stereo.
