- Answer This will not work on the standard radio. It will need an aftermarket stereos that are SirusXM ready.

- Answer No, the SXV300 is a SiriusXM Ready radio and requires that your receiver have the "SiriusXM Ready" logo in order to be compatible.

QuestionI just had a new Kenwood radio ( KDC-BT565U ) which is SiriusXM ready ,installed in my 2002 BMW 325XI and was told the Vehicle Tuner does not fit by the radio. Is there anyway this can be done? I don't want an external radio mounted on the dash???

- Answer The cable is long enough that you don't have to place the tuner directly next to the radio. It can be stashed anywhere behind the dash or under it using zip ties or double sided tape.

- Answer The SXV 200 is an outdated unit. I had 1 in my truck and could not pick up anything but the preview channel. Sirius is always updating there software so you will need the latest unit to receive all the channels

- Answer No. Tuners marked "SiriusXM Ready" will not work with "XM Ready" or "Sirius Ready" aftermarket radios, per the included documentation with the tuner, as well as the documentation included with many of the radios themselves.
