• A:Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, you have a couple of options when using this amplifier. First, a Sonos Port is what you would need to stream music via the Sonos app or use AirPlay and control the volume. This amplifier comes with a BUSS input, meaning you can connect one Sonos Port to the amplifier and play the same music across all speaker channels. You could also connect a Sonos Port to any or all (8) local inputs on the amplifier. This would give you independent volume control for each local input. As an example, let's say you have (8) different areas/rooms in your home where you want to put a pair of speakers (for example, Kitchen, Dining Room, Primary Bedroom, Primary Bathroom, Office, Kids Bedroom, Guest Bedroom, Patio.) You could give each local input its own Sonos Port and have the ability to independently control volume in each room as well as play different music in every room. Using the Sonos app, you could also group areas and play the same music in those grouped rooms. This amplifier is very flexible and works great with Sonos Port. Q: QuestionUsing one Sonos port to serve this Amp, if the amp is divided into 8 zones, can the port stream different music to each zone? Can this Amp be configured to power a subwoofer in a zone with other speakers (i.e., 3 right & left channels with a subwoofer)?

Q: QuestionIf I have a projector or TV that only has HDMI ports and I want to use this amp along with the MAG5.1 speakers for surround sound, how am I supposed to connect the TV or projector to the amp?

• A:Answer I'm assuming if you have the 5.1 speaker setup then you have a receiver already. basically you would use the preouts from your receiver or Zone 2. and connect it to this AMP.

That said, this amplifier can suport more zones than eight depending on how its wired or how you plan your space. Q: QuestionCan I use this amp in conjunction with Bluesound PowerNode Edges?
