• I am not sure if it has a built-in setting, but I have not noticed the sound getting louder with commercials like it did before I got my Sonos system.

• There's a night time setting which is supposed to limit the volume or at least the base for loud movie scenes. Not sure it will completely limit the sound for loud commercials
