• Has decent bass without the sub. But the sub is amazing upgrade.

• I have the Sonos playbar and sub. They work wirelessly. I do not think it would work unless you could connect your sub to the playbar with a wired connection. You could check the connections are on the Sonos and see if you can connect the two units. By the way I love my Sonos system.
