- Answer Hi there! The Bluetooth function of this soundbar can be set to transmission mode which will allow you to pair other Bluetooth audio output devices with it (BT speakers, headphones, etc..). However, we cannot guarantee if all Bluetooth devices will work. Regards, -Mark

QuestionI have hardwired Bose surround speakers. Is it possible, through a wireless/Bluetooth adapter, for this sound bar to connect with the hardwired speakers as rear speakers?

- Answer If do not think they will. Bose has special wiring for the wired speakers. I believe also because they aren't bluetooth that it will not work. If I understood correctly you may need to buy extra wireless speakers. Before you do make sure that they will work with your system. I hope this helps.

- Answer Hi Kayabor, the best way to connect is using an HDMI ARC cable to maximize the capability of both devices. However, connecting wirelessly with your UBP-X1000ES is not possible. Thanks! ^Ron

- Answer No, the HT-NT5 soundbar & subwoofer are a set, with matching serial numbers. However if you're just looking for a bluetooth wireless subwoofer, there are many to choose from; check-out the: AVS Forum | Home Theater Discussions And Reviews > Audio > Subwoofers, ~ ...where current reviews, opinions, links are plentiful.

QuestionAfter moving Bravia TV and Sony sound bar, we now cannot get tv sound on sound bar. We also cannot get the home menu for the sound bar to display on the tv so we can troubleshoot. Test sound works. Setting up a sound bar should not be this difficult!

- Answer I have had similar issues and a couple of others. I agree, it should not be so difficult. I called Tech Support and they could not fix with basic troubleshooting. They ended up stepping me through a complete system reset. It worked after that. And I had the initial set up done professionally with delivery.

Questionhave Sony XBR65X750D hooked up to via ARC to the Sony Soundbar HTNT5 ARC. Turn TV on. message on Sound Bar HTNT5 displays "MUTING" we press mute on remote, now shows "TV" but no sound out of sound bar. happens 80% of the time. have to reboot. frustrated

- Answer Depends on what you're trying to get sound out of. I know for my Xbox One I had to go from the ARC input on my tv, into the output on the soundbar and had to use the input from my soundbar into the output on my Xbox One to get sound.

QuestionCan I mount the soundbar above my TV, where I have plenty of space, as opposed to below it where there is only about 3 inches? I intend to use the 3 HDMI inputs for Roku, DVD & cable box, with the HDMI output to the TV. Presumably this should work?

QuestionI want to hang this sound bar under a new Sony tv, which will be on a Sanus multi-directional wall mount...so that the sound bar moves with the TV. I was going to use a Sanus sound bar bracket, will this work? Thanks Chris
