- Answer It does not appear to limit sound on commercials. I have directv and I cannot use my remote to turn it on or control the volume.

- Answer If you hit the pair button and it says "not use", press the button located at the bottom right, bluetooth icon. It enables rx/TX which prevents you from pairing your devic(s).

QuestionI have the HTCT790 Sound Bar, my problem is lip sync going out of sync. I am able to correct it by switching to TV speakers, then switch again to system speakers. This lasts for a undetermined amount of time, then it will go out of sync again.

- Answer I am not sure if this will help but I had the same problem with mine. I found that the subwoofer would lose connection from time to time. I just manually powered the subwoofer off, then waited 5-10 seconds and turned it back on and it would reconnect. I am sure you have tried this, but I thought I would share my experience. Hope it helps.

- Answer Yes, the sub is plug and play. Connects automatically once powered on. At least that is how it works for me and I use it everyday. Even if I unplug the sub from the wall and move it the device automatically connects once its powered on.

- Answer The sound bar measures approximately 2 .05 inches high by 40.55 inches wide by 4.96 inches deep and the subwoofer measures approximately 15 inches high by 7.48 inches wide by 15.2 inches deep.

- Answer I have the Sony HT-CT790 sound bar and paired with the Sony SRS-ZR5 surround/multi-room speakers. They sound amazing and very easy to setup. They can be configured as surround or multi-room portable very easily and very easy to switch back and forth as I do in my basement TV room setup. Not all Sony sound bars support the multi-room setup, so check you specific sound bar.
