How good is the sound on this model? null

The sound is better than most TVs without external speakers, but no TV is going to be the quality of a good surround-sound speaker system.

I thought the sound was good in an apartment, I didn't turn it up really loud, with the different sound options.

It's actually pretty good...not sure if you'll use it on a TV Stand coz my set up is wall mounted and since the built-in speakers pointed downwards the sound is loud enough for me on a regular size room.
