• Yes, this is a 2015 model. All Sony's with a "C" will be 2015. 2016 models will have a "D".

• 850b is the 2014 model and 850c is the 2015 model. the 2015 has a little bit better electronics in it.

• Yes, I had issues with tv turning off. Samsung said issues with motherboard. Go with Sony 850 series.
