• If DirecTv is broadcasting in 4K you're good to go. I know Netflix has 4K programing that I've seen. And it worked just fine.

• Yes it is. you can get some 4K content on Netflix and it looks amazing. hopefully soon we will be able to get 4K content in movies and regular TV.

• In the home menu where you see the list of apps there is a Directv Ready app but you still need to call to schedule an installation appointment.
