Leave it in it's original box but build a 2X4 frame to put the box in with 1X4 braces corner-to-corner. That should make it safe enough to transport. Think about it, the TV came from Asia, on a cargo ship, so it should be able to survive the return shipping. Be sure and get insurance on the shipping to replace the unit in case it gets damaged. A freighting company should know how to build a frame for it if you have the bucks. It's something you can do by yourself though. Just measure twice and cut once.

With the exception of the Cineza series projectors (models starting with VPLHS), the PAL and SECAM broadcast formats are not supported on Sony televisions sold in the United States. -Anthony
