A:Answer The unfortunate answer to this is, you're most likely looking at low-definition programming. The great part about this TV is that it shows everything in extremely sharp detail. The bad part is, it accentuates a low-definition signal. This is what I think you are experiencing. If you start with a fairly hi-definition signal, for instance from a DVD, the TV will upscale it to where it looks almost BluRay quality. If you play a BluRay it will upscale it to look almost 4K. It does a wonderful job of up scaling the higher resolution signals, but the old standard definition signals appear fuzzy and somewhat blurry. Usually when you're sitting on your couch or chair, back away from the TV it looks similar to what you've been use to before a Hi-definition TV. When I first set up my TV, I experienced that same thing and to tell you the truth, I was pretty let down with my purchase. Then I found where the Hi-Def channels were on my service and was blown away at the picture quality. It's just a matter of getting use to and I promise you this, it's much better than your previous TV.
I love mine.
By the time you read this, you've probably already discovered all of this mentioned above.
