QuestionI know that this TV has settings to remvoe the soap opera effect. But how well does this truly work? Do you still see any soap opera effect or will it really look like traditional cinema played in 24 fps? Thanks.

- Answer Have not noticed any soap opera effect, i set it up to what the experts recommend,then tweak a maybe two settings to my preference

QuestionDoes this TV have a screen saver that can be left on for a king time to help disguise the large black screen nature of a tv on the wall? (Sort of like the Samsung frame TV idea)

- Answer I will assume you mean a "long" time. Even if that feature is available, wouldn't the set have to be powered on during operation? But, to each their own.

- Answer Maybe we should try to get BestBuy to have Sony improve the quality of their TVs. Their Android is buggy, like the Amazon apt got screwed up for 5 years when the Netflix app was run. I had to reboot the TV to correct the problem. As an Android developer I think they can do much better.

QuestionI have the Sonos Arc and the height is specified at 3.4". Can I use in front of this TV? The A90J shows a 3.25" clearance below the screen. Will the very minor .15" make a noticeable difference? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

- Answer We do use ours in front of our Sony Bravia, but we have to hold the remote up and aim it “over” the Arc.

QuestionI went and saw this TV in the store. I don’t see how the stand width is adjustable. I looked at the back of the TV and I didn’t see any possibility for adjustment. I’m looking for the total width without a sound bar.

- Answer I’m assuming you’ve bought the tv and know this by now, but the adjustment is done by switching the sides of the mounts. The flat stand setup is the default. To get to soundbar position, you remove the right stand and put it on the left and vice versa.

QuestionI walked into a Best Buy and there was a 1080p blu ray version of Iron Man 2 on a A90J and a Samsung QN90A. There was much pixelation and fuzziness on the A90J and the QN90A looked so crisp. Is Sony not that good at upscaling lower resolution content?

- Answer I have had my 65 inch Sony A90J for three weeks. I have found that it does an excellent job of upscaling HD to 4K. The A90J produces an awesome picture both in color reproduction and sharpness. No regrets in buying the A90J.
