A:Answer OK...Think of it this way...Your computer, especially a newer one, may have a speed of 3.7 GHz let's say. That is determined by the Microprocessor and it's internal clock speed.
But...It's powered by 120 Volts (AC) at a rate of 60 Hz. Don't confuse the two.
60 Hz is the input cycles that power the Television, and the electronics inside are designed to operate to where it refreshes the screen at a rate of 240 Hz.
And don't confuse that with the clock rate of the internal electronics. It just allows the refreshing of the screen 240 times a second. A healthy naked eye couldn't hardly tell the difference if the refresh rate was 50 Hz. I'm writing this because I have this very T.V. , trust me...the two figures have nothing in common.
