QuestionSo, what's the difference between the 850 series and the 900 series? Is it worth the extra $?

- Answer The X900F, is a full array monitor with many local dimming zones. The X900F also utilizes a VA panel, vs. IPS panel. The X850F lacks these features, and is not a good option for you if you enjoy watching content with dark scenes, or a night without the lights on. There are better alternatives out there at this price range. This is an Edge lit , IPS panel television, which is what most lower level units use. All higher quality lcd/led television sets, i.e. Samsung Q8,Q9, Sony X900F use VA panels, with back lighting and full array dimming.

QuestionI just bought this tv today and i have it on the stand it comes with. Is it normal for the tv to be leaning a little bit? It leans to the back a little and im just wondering if thats normal.

- Answer Hi Simon, at least i was not the only one when i told them about the popping noise. We set it up and got the popping noise also. Was on phone with C/S and reset everything to no avail. Went back to Best Buy and exchanged to a Samsung Q7. Yes, i do not think it is suppose to pop....

QuestionSomeone below posted that the stand width is 51 5/8 inches. But the legs on the stand flare out. So is 51 5/8 inches the distance between the inner-most part of the stand (where it attaches to the TV) or the outer-most part of the flared legs?

- Answer i've had a lot of Sonys even the 13 inch from japan, and still working no screen problems, i also use dryer sheets also to clean the screen and it does help to keep the dust down longer after you clean it with some of what sony recommends to use.hope this helps to answer you question.
