QuestionHow does the 75" x900f compare to last year's 75" x940e TV? Are there any major differences outside of Google Assistant? Also is motion blur better with the new x900f (X-Motion Clarity) vs the x940e (Motionflow™ XR 960 (native 120 Hz))?

- Answer RTINGS.com answers this question better than I can "Unless you are in a very brightly lit room, stick with the X900F. The motion lag on the X940E make it less than ideal for gaming or watching sports."

- Answer I did. The Samsung it edge lit and has no real local dimming. So what that means is you get some.inconsostant contrast when you shouldn't have it. I noticed this mostly playing red dead redemption or other nature shots. It also to me downt handle fast motion well as you can see trailing from fast images. It drove me nuts. Nuts enough to return it and buy a 900f. This thing has backlit led and.local.dimming images are cleaner sharper smoother overall. I don't use the interface for anything as I did a firmware check and disconnected it from the network. I would highly suggest buying this over the q6 and q7. The q8 would be abetter competitor but personally this Sony is great tv I won't be returning to Samsungs

QuestionBased on the width spec's for the legs of this TV, I am about 6" short with my current TV stand. Can the legs be installed backwards/switched so they angle inward? If not, are there other legs out there that can be purchased that point straight out?

- Answer Yes. It will accept 1080, 1440, and 2160 signals without difficulty at 60Hz. 1080p 120 Hz is supported but must be manually added in Windows. Lag is decent in 1080, but very good at 4k. Make sure you're in game mode for the low input lag. It does not have the features that the 2018 Samsungs have with variable refresh rates/FreeSync, but it's overall very satisfactory as gaming TV. I haven't done much HDR gaming via PC as HDR gaming doesn't seem to be as fine-tuned on PC as on consoles, but SDR gaming on PC is great looking and HDR gaming on PS4 Pro is spectacular.

Questioni have a sony 9oof - 2 months old and have no audio.. the tv speakers or sound system is not working. I unplugged power from optik box, tried a different HDMI cable, swapped the blue ray HDMI cable - tried playing a dvd on blue ray and still no audio

- Answer I think so. It handles the weight of the TV and is quick to install. It has a few inches of play to move forward and back and it does tip.

QuestionDoes the X900F support HDMI 2.1?

- Answer As far as I know, it does not. Unsure what the other commenter is talking about. The X900H, a 2020 model, is labeled as having HDMI 2.1 support. The X950G has eARC support, unlike the X900F, which is a feature shared by HDMI 2.1 ports, but it’s not exactly the same thing.

QuestionWhat are the dimensions for the mounting bracket holes on the back with relation to the bottom, top and sides of the unit. I know it is 400 x 300 hole pattern but how far from the bottom and top of the screen edges are the holes.? Schematic somewhere?

- Answer I would like to repeat the question above as well. What are the mounting bracket holes dimensions measured from the bottom of the TV? We know it is VESA 400x300 but what is their relation with the TV edges themselves. Nothing I have googled has yet given me the answers. The answer provided in this topic has references to how to mount but I couldn't find the dimensions. I am planning to purchase this TV and would like to prepare the mounting brackets in the wall. Thank you!
