I have the 75. It does lean slightly back, and it’s not adjustable. They do it because they believe most people will place the set on a low table, so it is angled up. But mine isn’t low, so I found it incredibly annoying. That said, I put two felt “furniture protectors” under each of the back two feet, and it solved the problem. I love the TV, so it’s not a deal-breaker for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Ty1er, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the TV leans back slightly on the stand in anticipation of setting it on a low TV rack. For the angle adjustment, no. The TV was designed to have a 2 to 3 degree lean backwards. This way, you'll be able to enjoy watching TV programs comfortably. Regards, Carl
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So i ended up picking up this TV shortly after i posted my original question. My tv stand is tall at 30" so i was concerned with the angling back of the TV. Yes the TV leans back 3 degrees or so, but (oddly) i dont find it to be an issue. There is no discernible difference when viewing the tv directly perpendicular or lower since the set leans back slightly. Every time i watch this TV i have a smile on my face. I love it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks johndp1! I was asking because have a higher style credenza just like you and i wouldn't want it angle back. Good idea with adding the feet, if i pick up one of these sets ill do the same! thanks
