A:AnswerI haven't felt any heat from this tv. If you lookup this specific model via YouTube you will see that there hasn't been any reviewers reporting heat issues. Hopefully that will make you feel better about potentially purchasing this model.
A:AnswerSo the narrow leg position has a high AND A low height ? (2 height portions ?) The SONY video shows only 2 heights for the WIDE position. Thanks !
A:AnswerI pulled this information from the Sony website for you to reference:
https://electronics.sony.com/tv-video/televisions/oled/p/xr83a90j
DIMENSION OF TV WITH STAND (SOUNDBAR POSITION) (W x H x D)
74.13 x 44.88 x 16.88" (1,880 x 1,137 x 428 mm)
A:AnswerHi Sony,
Do you happen to have a list of compatible receiver and sound bars and only Sony branded. I specifically asked about the Samsung HW-90R sound bar and what you responded is very generic. I would hate to purchase the tv and have return it because it doesn’t play nice with my peripheral’s.
A:Answer3D technology has the potential to be far more superior now than at any other point in history due to 4K-UHD-BLU-RAY disc technology. 3D's past issues were that people didn't want to spend big money on 'Active 3D glasses' (battery operated), or a small minority received a headache from them.
The only problem with wearing 'Passive 3D glasses' (like the kind that you find in movie theaters) is that when watching a 3D-BLU-RAY disc, each eye only sees DVD quality video. But if they were to make 4K-3D-UHD-BLU-RAY discs than each eye would see 2K quality which is double that of a standard BLU-RAY disc (i.e., SDR).
The thing that I don't understand is that a TV manufacturer like Sony doesn't want to put '3D Frame Packing' on their line of Sony Master Series TV's for home theater applications. How can you call your ultimate line of TV's 'MASTER SERIES' if they don't even have 3D technology?
