A:AnswerHi sholder1030, yes, you may stream Amazon Prime in surround sound (5.1) with this Bluray player, provided that the title offers the said audio quality and that you have the required equipment. Thanks, -Mark
A:AnswerHello oZnerol, thank you for your message. Experience HD sound with Dolby® TrueHD and dts®-Master Audio. Dolby® Digital TrueHD and dts® 2.0+ Digital Out codecs reproduce high-definition sound with 7.1 channels of discrete audio for uncompromised quality. A:AnswerI am not sure about your old setup, but the new one was easy to set up. You probably need two people to get it out of the box, its fairly heavy and you need to be careful about pressing on the scree ( a NO NO). New ones have no RCA connections, only HDMI, USB and optical, but still coax for cable in. Hope this helps,
Jim
A:AnswerYes it will work, I use mine on a hd 1080p projector..
Image is awesome and works flawless..
it will only 4k upconvert for tv's capable of receiving a 4k signal.. Otherwise standard Hd
A:AnswerHi Cartman, The Blu-ray player will be able to upscale HD discs to near 4K quality aside from the TV's capability to improve the picture of the video being played. «Jerome
A:AnswerThe Model I bought has the “normal” size HDMI. The cord I’ve had for several years that was connected to the DVR I replaced plugged into the Sony.
A:AnswerHi Peppy,
I just bought this Blu Ray player. It does come with a group of apps including You Tube, Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video. That said, it does not have,as I far I can see, YouTube TV loaded on as part of the apps. It does come with an app called Vewd.com which gets you access to more content and clips from sources such as YouTube TV. It is a nice, little unit and I have used it as part a hi fi system I am building. Did not want to spend lot of money on a high end CD player so I get this along with a 19" TV so I can play CD's, SACD's, BluRays and other formats. So far it worked out well. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi Jlfreeman, It is capable of upscaling to near 4K quality. It will not support 4K discs. You may refer to this link for more information:

A:AnswerHi Winky, using a firestick will be depending on your viewing preference. For this player, it has already come with a pre-installed app as an add-on that we can use. For more details, please check here: https://docs.sony.com/release//specs/BDPS6700_mksp.pdf
