• A:Answer Hello, thank you for your message. Applications cannot be manually added or removed by the viewer. The channels are modified automatically over time as programming changes allow. As part of the normal operation of the Internet video device, the Internet apps cannot be manually removed or deleted. Individual apps and the video, photos or movies provided in an app are added and removed automatically by Sony and the content providers. -Oscar.

Q: QuestionCompatible with Toshiba 53AX61 TV - Follow-up QuestionUpdate: I do not see an HDMI port on the TV, but believe I have co-ax ports?. See attached photo. Should I buy 1 single coaxial cable to connect the TV to Blu Ray? Will 1 single cable handle both audio/video, etc.? Thanks so much! We have an older Toshiba 53AX61 TV that we will be replacing next year. Is this blu ray compatible? If so, what cable should I buy? I attached a picture of the connectors on the back of the TV. In order to be able to use this blu-ray player it is necessary to have an HDMI port available to be able to send the video and audio signal to your television, the available digital audio out coaxial port on this unit will only send audio to a receiver if in use.~Jeannette

• A:Answer Haven't tried it. Seems pretty awesome. Need a PS4 controller plugged into the USB port on the front. I would recommend the BDPS6500, the one with the dual core chip in it. Also, connect to ethernet and avoid WIFI when game streaming. Make sure your ISP (internet) connection is fast and strong.

Q: QuestionWill this player read compressed video formats?I have multiple home videos that I recorded to CD and DVDS using mainly Divix and Xvid compression. Is this unit equipped with the required decodes to read these recordings? Also, assuming the BDPS3500 reads these formats, how is the picture output handled? Is the picture quality left at the original recording values, or is the video up-conversion circuits able to improve appearance of the video displayed?

Q: QuestionCan this device be used vertically?I am looking for a blu ray player to replace the PS3 I used to use. The PS3 was perfect because those can be set up vertically and still function properly. I am wondering if this blu ray can be used that way too or if it has to be kept horizontal.

Q: QuestionFrom my Sony Camcorder CX405, I want to burn the recordings onto a DVD on my computer, so I can play the DVD on my Blu-ray Player to watch. Which file format should I convert to when burning onto the DVD so the Blu-ray player can read the recording?

• A:Answer Hi Donny, you won't need to convert the AVCHD files to any other format to play them back on a Sony Blu-ray player. You can also set the camera to enable Dual Video REC to record in both AVCHD and MP4 at the same time. The MP4 format is more widely recognized in different playback software and devices.
