QuestionCan the up-scaling feature be turned off/set or does it auto sense? I'd be connecting this a tuner that only supports 1080p pass-through and would like to know if there would potentially be any potential issues?

- Answer Hi Nelson, That is not gonna be an issue. The upscaling feature is automatic and can't be disabled. This will surely work with a receiver that supports 1080p pass-through. «Jerome

QuestionDo I need 4K upscaling if my TV does this already??I have a 4K TV which does its own upscaling. What if anything do I gain with a DVD player that also does this? Assuming a 4K TV worth several thousand dollars will have a better processor for upscaling than a $100 DVD player.

- Answer No you don't need it but in my case I attached it to a tv that is NOT 4k and it looks just fine.

Question4k signalI have a Vizio M55-C2 4K tv. If i buy this 4K upscale bluray player and hook it up, put a bluray movie and go to tv info will it say 1080p or 4K signal. Right now when i play 4K netflix movies it says 4K on info and when i play netflix on my apple tv says 1080p.

- Answer I don't understand how could someone give an incorrect answer and could not even back it up with any fact. This is NOT a regional free (or muti-system / multi-regional) player. it will play DVD from region 1 and Blu Ray disk from region A - which are made for the US market ONLY. Another thing to consider is that unless a DVD is marked as REGION FREE, it may play. You have to also make sure that it is not in PAL format (for Europe).

- Answer Yes it does... Anytime your connected to the Internet wired or wifi it will consume data.

- Answer Hello Tim! The Sling TV application is only available from the Google Play store when using a Sony TV or home video device with Google TV / Android Operating System. Unfortunately it is not possible to manually install applications to this device since they are modified by the content providers.~Jeannette
