• Quality of sound is OK for recording used as reference or reminders but I would not recommend it for short films.

• Hi Kris, No way to transfer recordings, this voice recorder does not have a USB terminal to plugged into a laptop. Here is the link to its specification. https://docs.sony.com/release//Help_4530204121.pdf -Jerome
