Hi Shree, yes the camcorder has clean video output via HDMI, you can also choose to display the settings and other information to your TV by changing the CTRL for HDMI setting. The camera can output 1080p or 1080i at 60 fps. And yes, you can use the camera with the TV while plugged in to an AC socket. Thanks_Mitch
