  • QuestionCan I replace the batteries in the earpods and charging case?

    • Answer Hi Staffish, Thanks for the inquiry. You cannot replace the batteries in the WF-LS910N earbuds or the charging case yourself. The earbuds and the charging case are pre-set with information that allows them to communicate with and from each other, and these settings can only be configured at an Authorized Service Center with both components present. In case one of the earbuds or the charging case is lost or damaged, you should send the remaining items (earbuds and charging case) to an Authorized Service Center so that a replacement for the missing part can be paired with the remaining components. If the charging case is damaged, it is available as a replacement part from Sony's Authorized Parts Distributor. Regards, -Craig

  • QuestionI have tried two pairs. Both pairs when in noise cancellation mode the left earbud starts to have a high pitched screech. It starts of low builds up will it has a full blown LOUD chirp/screech. Why is this happening? Only happens in noise cancellation.

This type of screeching or feedback, which is essentially an unwanted feedback loop, typically occurs due to three main causes that disrupt the sensitive Noise Canceling system: an obstruction such as dirt, earwax, or moisture blocking the sound output holes or microphone openings; an improper fit that prevents a perfect air-tight seal in your ear canal, which is essential for the function; or the microphones picking up and amplifying external contact from things like wind, body movement, or the earbud brushing against your ear. What you can try right away: 1) Remove earbud tips and clean the sound output holes, microphone holes, and sensors with a dry, soft cloth or cotton swab. 2) Ensure the earbuds are fitted snugly and the correct size tips are used.   • QuestionI have my daith pierced and would these still provide ANC for me? I have tried some others that didn't do a good job of cancelling loud noises.

IPX4 is a water resistance rating that means a device can withstand splashes of water from any direction, but they cannot stay underwater or heavy rain. The only model that is waterproof, specifically for swimming is the Walkman NW-WS623. It can even be used in salt water.
