- Answer It doesn’t receive power or work as a stand alone device you do need to plug it into your PS5 type C port however the cable is very generous in length. I can sit across my living room on the sofa & still have slack left over

- Answer It should be running the same language as your console it doesn’t really have an internal drive it’s more of an accessory than a stand alone device I’d update the settings in your console.
