- Answer Yes... 3.5" input. I use a variety of external microphones plugged directly into this camera and do not use the internal microphone.

- Answer The camcorder can be recording while streaming via the HDMI. The resolution output is 720p-1080p.

QuestionHello, I am an owner of a hunting and fishing channel and am looking for a great camera to film my hunts and fishing trips. Does this camera work in low light wooded areas well? And could I film night time hunts nicely?

QuestionCan it transfer videos to Windows 7 Movie Maker off memory stick without reducing (compressing) file size. Had a Sony PJ670 & could transfer off the memory stick. Bought a Sony 4K Ax53 from Best Buy this Oct. & it wouldn't, file size to large.

QuestionComposite Video CablesDoes this come with Composite Video cables? RCA or S Video? Would video input cables used with Sony Handycam TRV's be compatible with this model?

- Answer S-video and composite video connections are for standard definition signals. This unit only outputs digital hdmi signals. There is a "multi" output connection but the cable to fit it is not provided and I doubt it it is sd.

- Answer As long as the card can write at 50mb/sec It will work just fine with xavcs. I use a PNY Elite Performance class 10 90mb/sec and it works great.
