• A:Answer Yes! The Zeiss 55mm F1.8 is more then adequate for a crop sensor camera. Don't let people full you by saying you can't shoot with a full frame lens on a crop sender camera. Jason Lanier has YouTube reviews shooting an entire wedding with a a6300. Hope this helps

• A:Answer Yes! This lens does work with a Sony a6000, as i have used it on one. HOWEVER, it will not be a 55mm lens on the a6000 due to it having a crop sensor rather than a full-frame sensor. This means that the lens will be right around around 75-80mm. Which makes this a fantastic portrait lens for the a6000.
