A:AnswerI have encountered similar devices that won't charge and play simultaneously, however this isn't one of them. I havent had an issue at all with playback during charging. One thing, though, is the volume decreases some as the battery gets low. it doesn't revert to the level it was at just by plugging it up. You will have to turn it up yourself.
A:AnswerI haven't tried it on the Ipad, but I would assume you just go into settings and turn on the blue tooth. It should connect just like it does to the phone. Once in the Bluetooth setting, and it is on, just find the one that connects to the speaker and it should play.
