- Answer I don’t believe the sonos speakers decode the 192khz rate but it might support one of the lower hi res bands. Sonos probably has the answer on their website.

QuestionI love the player (UBP-X800M2), but why does it have such a limited app selection (Netflix, Prime and YouTube)? The cheaper UBP-X700 has Hulu and Spotify in addition to the other apps above. Any plans by Sony to add Hulu (at least?) and Spotify e.g.?

- Answer The answer is that a DVD Player or BluRay player needn't have these applications since all smart TVs available in today's stores come already manufactured with that capability or else one can add something like a $29 ROKU to acquire that capability. No need for DVD /BluRay manufacturers to assume the additional cost and add that to their for sale price when the functionality is already provided in other items in the system.

- Answer The 520 won’t support 4K 60FPS. In this case, HDMI connection from the Sony directly to the 4K tv, then tv ARC HDMI or optical cable to the 520 for sound. Good luck!

QuestionWill this play music CD's?

- Answer Yes, it plays various audio files on CD, including wave files used on commercial CDs. I tried commercial CDs and they played without any difficulty just like on a dedicated CD player, except there's no screen to display info on what's playing. It should (per the owners manual) play mp3s, .wma, .wav, .ac3, .flac, .m4a, and certain other audio files.

QuestionIf I have this DVD player Ethernet hard wired in one room and in another I have a Samsung TV on wireless (same network) can I watch what the DVD? It’s not a permanent set up, I plan to hook up HDMI and TV to Ethernet eventually

- Answer No, it will only play to a TV connected by an HDMI cable. It can not play to a TV over your network.

- Answer This is a standard although upscale bluray player. it is not region free. You will not find a region free player in any stores. You will need to do a search online for a modified player. I do believe 3d discs will play just fine as long as your tv is capable.
