You will not find a region free player in any stores. You will need to do a search
online for a modified player. I do believe 3d discs will play just fine as long as your

A:AnswerEven though, the X800m2 is a 4k bluray player it will work with a regular HD TV if the TV have an HDMI connector. This player only has HDMI outputs. If player is connected to a none 4K TV and It will convert 4k bluray to HD and DVD to HD to match your resolution of your TV. It only has 3 built in apps for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube and it will stream to a none smart HD TV. It looks like you cannot add extra apps like VUDU or Disney TV…. It does not have a lot of choice for streaming. You will a different Bluray player support more apps or a Streaming device like ROKU, Apple TV or Fire TV... etc or any other streaming devices.
