- Answer This is a standard although upscale bluray player. it is not region free. You will not find a region free player in any stores. You will need to do a search online for a modified player. I do believe 3d discs will play just fine as long as your tv is capable.

- Answer The primary differences are the chassis and supported (non-primary) formats, for example, one supports SACD and the other does not. They are similar in function. I purchased the X800M2 for my home theatre, and am considering the 700 for another place in the house. The 700 looks like a quality product and is likely sufficient for most applications.

- Answer It does not. If your headphones are Bluetooth compatible, you can use it or you can hook the player through a receiver and use the RCA jacks on the receiver to get sound to your headphones.

- Answer To me it depends on how many DVDs you will watch...it processes the sound and the picture (marvelously) that gets sent to your TV and the Denon.

- Answer Even though, the X800m2 is a 4k bluray player it will work with a regular HD TV if the TV have an HDMI connector. This player only has HDMI outputs. If player is connected to a none 4K TV and It will convert 4k bluray to HD and DVD to HD to match your resolution of your TV. It only has 3 built in apps for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube and it will stream to a none smart HD TV. It looks like you cannot add extra apps like VUDU or Disney TV…. It does not have a lot of choice for streaming. You will a different Bluray player support more apps or a Streaming device like ROKU, Apple TV or Fire TV... etc or any other streaming devices.

- Answer I'm pretty sure the answer is no. That's what the sales guy told me when I asked, and I think he also said that none of the devices Best Buy sells are region free. This actually makes sense if you consider the desires of the studios and distributors whose movies Best Buy also sells.
